The Canadian Society of Magazine Editors (CSME) announced the 2010 Editors' Choice Award winners today.

This Magazine, Cottage Life, Canadian Geographic, and Design Edge took home the titles of Magazine of the Year, in the small-, medium-, and large-circulation, and trade magazine categories. Cottage Life also won the award for Best Web Site and editor Penny Caldwell was recognized as the Editor of the Year by her peers.
“It's a great honour,” said Caldwell, who gave credit to her editorial team for their collective effort.
Design Edge was a double-winner, also earning the Best Front of the Book title. Rounding out the awards portion of the gala evening, held Wednesday, June 2, 2010, as part of the MagNet conference, Homemakers editor Kathy Ullyott accepted the Jim Cormier Award for Best Display Writing.
Guest speaker, Maclean's magazine contributor Sally Armstrong, recounted an inspirational career that spans from the editor-in-chief's desk at Homemakers, to working as a journalist, documentary filmmaker and human rights activist in conflict zones around the world.

Thank you to everyone who attended for making the evening a fun, fabulous night!
